Natural Gas Condensing Storage Tanks

A natural gas condensing storage tank is a reservoir of hot water, ready for use at any time. It can be up to 96% efficient and it is typically easier to install than other tankless models.

The Centrum Solutions Experience:

1. We will ask you a set of questions regarding tank size, maintenance room, etc. We may also require photos of your maintenance room.
2. We will ensure there is enough clearance in the room for a new storage tank to ensure a safe installation. Newer storage tanks can be bigger due to added insulation.
3. We will disconnect the gas and water pipes, and electrical wires as needed. We will drain the current tank completely of all water, and ensure it is empty.
4. We will remove the older tank and clean / vacuum the mechanical room.
5. We then modify the gas lines and pipes, exhaust and water pipes. We will proceed to install the new water heater.
6. We will commission the new storage tank and provide you with maintenance tips and how to operate the equipment. We warranty our work for 1 year on the labor of the newly installed tank.

Maintenance: The hot water coil should be flushed or de-scaled every year. Air screen needs to be cleaned as well.
