Natural Gas/Electric Non-Condensing Conventional Storage Tanks

We have a range of low to high-efficiency storage tanks that include such brands as Rheem, John Wood, General Electric, Kenmore, Bradford White, and AO Smith.

All brands provide a 6-year warranty on their tanks.

Benefits

  • Quick installation
  • A natural gas storage tank is designed to save you money and to last long
  • Safer because there is no chance of backdraft of carbon monoxide from the exhaust or gases
  • This tank is suitable for all types of homes of different sizes
  • Tank installation can easily be completed in one day. We also repair or replace gas valves, thermocouples, heating elements, or other parts as may be required.

The Centrum Solutions Experience:

  1. We will ask you a set of questions regarding the size of the tank, the size of the maintenance room, etc. We may ask for photos of the room as well.
  2. We will make sure there is enough clearance in the room for the new storage tank to ensure a safe installation.

**Newer storage tanks can be bigger due to added insulation.

  1. We will disconnect the gas and water pipes, and electrical wires as needed. We will drain the tank completely of all water to ensure it will not leak.
  2. We will remove the old tank and clean / vacuum the mechanical room.
  3. We will then modify the gas lines and pipes, exhaust and water pipes, and proceed to install a new tank.
  4. We will commission the new tank and provide you with maintenance tips and how to operate the tank. We warranty our work for 1 year on the labor of the newly installed tank.
  5. We’d love to ask for your feedback on our services to ensure you are completely satisfied. And if not… let us know, and we’ll come back to make it right!

Maintenance:

The storage tank needs to be emptied annually by shutting off the cold water and connecting a garden hose to the drain hose bib and draining it of all water. We highly recommend that the anode (sacrificial rod) inside the tank be replaced every 3 years or so, as this will prolong the life expectancy of the tank.
